FEV Mexico / B&W Automotive Engineering Mexico is seeking a qualified embedded software engineer to join our Intelligent Mobility group as a full-time employee. At FEV, Software Engineers are an integral part of a variety of interesting and challenging projects. A FEV software engineer gathers system requirements, creates specifications, and utilizes their technical skills to design, develop, and validate solutions for software development programs. Expect exposure to platforms ranging from low-cost microcontrollers to high end, multicore processors. The software engineer will simultaneously be involved in multiple projects as well as having direct interaction with customers.

Responsibilities and/or Duties:

§ Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ software, work in the embedded Linux environment, implement vehicle bus communication drivers and application software, and perform software integration work.

§ Integration of electronic control units into various applications.

§ Designing and troubleshooting vehicle electrical systems, components, and wiring.

Position Requirements and Qualification:

§ Advanced English required

§ BS and or MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

§ 3-5 Years' Experience in software development.

§ Software development and testing.

§ Matlab/Simulink, C/C++. (must have)

§ Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.

§ Experience with machine learning, Sensor Fusion, and Kalman Filters.

§ Embedded Linux, python, JavaScript, Java (a plus)

§ Development in Qt. (a plus)

§ Familiar with Microcontroller and electrical circuit design.
